Hiking Little Adam’s Peak in Ella takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour, for a full round trip starting from the foot of the mountain. The path covers roughly 2 kilometers each way and has a very mild incline. Because of that it feels pretty approachable for beginners.

Near the end, there is a small stretch with well-kept dirt stairs that lead to the top. This is a family-oriented trek and it tends to repay you with stunning 360-degree panoramas over the Ella Gap and the nearby tea estates, especially if you go in the early morning or later in the afternoon.
