Where is Diyaluma Falls located?

Diyaluma Falls, Sri Lanka’s second-highest waterfall, is found along the Colombo-Badulla highway, in Badulla District, just about 6 kilometres from the little town of Koslanda.

Even though the main 220-metre drop can be seen right from the road, near the bottom, the real highlight is the top stretch. Getting to the upper falls takes an adventurous hike, and it starts from Poonagala village nearby, where you walk towards a run of pristine, natural rock pools sitting on the very edge of the steep cliff, in a quiet, dramatic way.
