How much is the Sigiriya foreigner entrance fee?

As of the latest 2026 CCF pricing updates, the entrance fee for foreign adults climbing Sigiriya Lion Rock is USD 35, while children pay USD 20.

This ticket includes full access to the Water Gardens, Boulder Gardens, Mirror Wall, the Frescoes, the Museum, and the Summit Ruins. Because the charge is pretty high, some budget-minded travellers end up choosing the nearby Pidurangala Rock, which costs roughly LKR 1,000, for panoramic views over Sigiriya, though that option does not allow entry to the historic ruins at all.
