How far is Udawalawe from Mirissa?

Udawalawe National Park sits about 115 km from Mirissa by road. A normal trip in a private car usually takes roughly 2 to 3 hours. The time can shift based on traffic and where you are picked up.

Getting to Udawalawe from the south coast of Sri Lanka is fairly straightforward. You do not need a hard route or extra transfers. If you are going for a safari, plan for delays at the park gates.
