Can I Take Food and Drinks into Yala National Park?
Bring drinking water. Follow the rules set by the park or your tour operator about snacks and meals. Do not feed wildlife. Do not leave rubbish behind. Do not toss food from the vehicle. Also, do not eat in spots where guests have been told to avoid stopping.
For a typical half-day safari, a full meal is often not needed. If you need snacks for children or for dietary or medical reasons, pack them securely. Make sure you take away any wrappers and leftovers too. National parks are protected areas. They are visited under DWC permit rules. So the latest park guidance should matter more than older online tips.
