Can I change my Sri Lanka train ticket after booking?

Once a reserved ticket is issued, the national rail system does not allow passengers to change the date, time, or passenger name.

If your plans change at the last minute, you cannot use the same ticket for a new departure. You have to cancel the original booking and buy a completely new ticket for the new trip, as long as there are still seats.
