About This Tour

Take a 7-day private pilgrimage in Sri Lanka along the Ramayana Trail. Start at the Munneswaram Temple and the Manavari Temple. After that, go to Lord Hanuman’s shrine in Ramboda. Then visit the places linked with Sita Devi near Nuwara Eliya.
Next, see Ravana Falls and the surrounding legendary views. Continue to Kataragama for prayers. Afterward, explore Ussangoda and Rumassala.
You will travel with your own private driver. The plan is kept clear and calm, so you can focus on devotion, old customs, and the island’s scenery.

Important Information

Temple visits are planned based on the opening times, ceremonies, and what is happening locally.

If you want vegetarian meals or additional worship arrangements, please contact us in advance. We can help arrange them at an additional cost.

Ravana Cave has a steeper climb. It takes more effort, so it is optional.

Day 05 and Day 06 have longer travel days.

Because of that, we may change the plan based on how the group feels and whether they can keep up with the schedule.

Stories about places linked to the Ramayana are shared through Hindu belief and local custom. They are not presented as historically proven events.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if our flight arrives too late to visit both Chilaw temples on Day 01?
The Munneswaram and Manavari visits depend on flight arrival and worship hours. If both visits cannot fit comfortably, contact us to adjust the first-day temple order and timing before confirming the itinerary.
How are Seetha Amman Temple, Hakgala and Gayathri Peedam planned on Day 04?
Day 04 is based in Nuwara Eliya. The three visits are arranged as a local excursion with prayer time and a lunch break; Hakgala garden walking is weather-dependent and can be shortened if you prefer.
Can we add Ravana Cave to the Day 05 transfer?
Yes, on request and if time and physical ability allow. The cave requires a steeper climb, while Ravana Falls is the regular short stop before the drive south to Kataragama.
What happens if we cannot attend Kataragama evening worship on Day 05?
The itinerary also allows for a morning temple visit on Day 06 before leaving for Ussangoda and Galle, depending on current ceremony times and your preferred pace.
Can we include Kelaniya Temple on Day 07 before our flight?
It may be possible with a suitably late departure flight. The airport transfer and international check-in come first, so the Kelaniya stop is confirmed only after reviewing your flight schedule.
