Best national park for spotting Sri Lankan leopards?

Yala National Park is often seen as the top place in Sri Lanka, and also one of the top spots worldwide, for seeing wild leopards because their population is exceptionally dense.

In Yala, Block 1 has a particularly special mix of dense scrub jungle with rocky outcrops and open waterholes. This all works together to make an excellent hunting ground for the main apex predator. Wilpattu National Park, up in the northwest, tends to be the next best option; it gives strong leopard sightings, but with much less traffic from tourist jeeps. If you want the best chance, plan an early morning game drive or a late afternoon one, during the dry months, which are June to September.
