Misty Mountain Route

The best times are early morning (6 AM) or late afternoon (3 PM) when animals are most active. We typically schedule the afternoon safari on Day 5.
Is the train ride to Ella guaranteed?
Train tickets are subject to availability and need to be booked in advance. We will do our best to arrange them, but if unavailable, we will proceed by road which is also scenic.
Can we swim in Hikkaduwa?
Yes, Hikkaduwa is famous for its coral reefs and safe swimming spots. However, always check the sea conditions and lifeguard flags before entering the water.
What is the dress code for temples?
Visitors must wear clothing that covers shoulders and knees when visiting temples like the Temple of the Tooth and Dambulla Cave Temple. White clothing is preferred.
